Top motivational speakers learn from each other – Bernie De Souza

Bernie de Souza had plenty in common with sales trainer Frank Furness when he attended a speaker bootcamp.

He shared some of the expertise which has made him famous around the world as a motivational and inspirational leadership and people management specialist. He enjoyed brushing up his own speaking skills as part of his own continuous personal development. (cpd)

Both speakers are used to 'Walking with Tigers' – the subject of Frank's latest book where he shares the secrets of the World's Top Business Leaders.

Similarly, motivational speakers such as Bernie not only help businesses through his own experiences but also gets tips himself from top motivators he meets at events. He is proud that the famous explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes supplied personal encouragement to carry out his work as a professional speaker and motivationalist.

Rubbing shoulders at events with famous personalities is a boon to a speaker: “Not many people get the opportunity to meet famous personalities the way I do and I learn from hearing their speeches as well as comparing notes and sharing ideas afterwards,” Bernie says.

As a noted personal profiler Bernie De Souza observes people and their habits. It has enabled him to develop his many motivational and profiling skills and map out exclusive ways to help people based on his own personal experience and expertise.

In his own book, Frank Furness investigates people with the Midas touch, wealth creators who “leave a golden glow of outstanding allround achievement on everything they handle”.

Bernie De Souza himself has had his share of success in business, growing sales skills he didn't even know he possessed. He developed it into something major and ended up with a sales empire of almost unimaginable proportions and wealth.

He knows first hand the ups and downs of business and shares these with business leaders he meets today who welcome mentoring and coaching from a man who has been there and got the tee-shirt.

Apart from his motivational skills, Bernie has grown the personal profiling techniques which have since made him famous around the world. He came across them years ago when he first began working with leading sports personalities in various sports.

The professional motivator, author and speaker was delighted that Dr Robert Rohm, the inventor of the D.I.S.C. Profiling system he has used for twenty years as an accredited trainer, praised the advanced process he developed to help businesses meet the needs of the 21st century. He was pleased that it had a very warm reception when it was unveiled at a 'Personality Profiles' conference in the USA and is finding favour on both sides of the Atlantic.

Even before he learned profiling he learned first hand the different ways top sports personalities set goals and approach their route to greatness. In the early days he had the opportunities to witness the likes of Olympians Daley Thompson, Steve Cram and Linford Christy approach their unique way to the top when he was a physical training instructor in the airforce in the UK where he lives.

Since then, there have been opportunities to coach a myriad of teams and individuals globally who have all benefitted from his unique people management and motivational skills. At the height of his business success he was addressing audiences of thousands in major locations and has used this experience developing his presentational talents as a professional motivational and leadership speaker.

  1. I agree with you top motivational speakers learn from each other. They learn from each other's mistakes and try to try not to commit them when they are on the stage. They also exchange tips and tricks with each other so that they can become better at what they are doing.
