School bullies curbed by Bernie De Souza personality classes

Professional speaker Bernie De Souza shows school audiences how they can avoid conflict by getting to know the personality traits of the people around them.

“I am an expert in the process of working out what makes us all tick and once you know what sort of personality you are and what other personality types there are and what needs to be done to work with them, you can avoid much of the conflict in the playground as well as in the workplace and at home.”

Bernie is famed around the world for his expertise in the Personality Insights D.I.S.C. Profiling process which he learned years ago and has perfected and developed personally.

He often uses it as part of the healing process helping top sporting teams gel together and he is also using it in schools to demonstrate the power of understanding personalities.

“For instance it helps to know that the “D” type characters in our profiling system are the dominant demanding creatures who always want their own way. It is not surprising that they always want to take the lead and in schools they can appear bullying. Knowing what presses their buttons is important in knowing how to avoid conflict. This is the sort of thing I teach at events.”

Inspirational souls in the second part of the process will go on the attack if they cannot find peaceful means to avoid conflict.

“Once again my audiences love finding out about the people in their midst. They also love to be shown what sort of personality types they are and how to control their natural urges.”

His assessments prove that the other sorts of people in his list will avoid confrontation where possible whilst others will comply with expectations.

“We all have some or all of these traits in our make-up and we have to know about them to make our lives happier.”

Bernie's presentations at schools are fun and interactive and demonstrate the power to be had in knowing the personalities around us.

“Teachers especially need to be instructed in the best ways to communicate with different personality types in order to keep peace in the classroom and get the most out of the individuals they teach.”

Bernie De Souza is working with various mainstream organisations on Continuous Personal Development (CPD) schemes required by training departments.

“In my own life I have diffused many difficult situations by knowing the personality types I am dealing with. I have the experience to sometimes know at a glance what type of character I am with and I can even tell from the inflection in a voice down the phone that I have to tread carefully with the sort of character I am talking to.”

Bernie De Souza is also working with top sportsmen and women in the New Year on conflict resolution and career management and communication programmes to improve team balance and goal setting.

He is credited with helping Pakistan and West Indies cricket teams in the past and last year worked with top footballers as well as cricketers to raise their game. He is currently working with a national UK sports squad to help them remain focused and successful.

He has also worked with Olympians and seen first hand what makes them different when it comes to being the best.

“I use these experiences to the benefit of schoolchildren and teachers who appreciate that I know what I am talking about.”

Bernie has also had the personal benefit of appearing with top class motivational speakers at events around the world and has the backing of the likes of Allan Pease who endorsed his last book.
