Premier Division Firm Books Premier Division Speaker Bernie De Souza

A company in the premier division when it comes to helping England Cricket, Premier League Football clubs and a variety of other sports find commercial partners reported winning in excess of £3 million worth of business after engaging Bernie De Souza to motivate the sales team.

They are just one of the amazing success stories reported by the acclaimed public speaker who is helping recession hit companies carry win business.

Managing Director John Lee credits the success coach with boosting the confidence of his sales squad and helping them understand the psyche of individual clients and how to interact with them.

“We have signed in excess of £3 million worth of business since he has been with us and I think he has been a major contributor to that success,” said Mr Lee.

Amongst its many successes, BD Sport is credited with helping take the British Baseball Federation and the British Softball Federation from One part time employee with £50K of turnover in 1998 to a professionally run organisation with over 10 staff and a near £500K turnover organisation.

Bernie is renowned for the power of his people profiling skills which have made him famous – skills he first learned decades ago from the creator of Personality Insights D.I. S.C. profiling, Dr Robert Rohm. He has also demonstrated the skills on huge conference stages or in private settings such as the one with BD Sport.

It is successes such as these which Mr Lee wants to capitalise on and grow. Bernie De Souza profiled the six team members and demonstrated the stimulus appreciated by various character types and the approaches which work best. He visits the company in Preston regularly to suggest various communication tactics and supplies other business coaching.

“Everyone feels more confident when he is around, “ said John Lee, “he has definitely made a difference in the work we are doing.”

Many of the skills Bernie taught the company are outlined in his conference keynotes and training packages titled the Power of Understanding Personalities where he unlocks the hidden personality DNA which helps breakdown the barriers to personal and business success.

John explained that he was shown that his own personality type doesn’t like to waste time and gets to the point quickly. He realises now that he is a visual thinker and the sort of sales presentations which would appeal to him personally. He recognises now that this approach wouldn’t work with someone of a more laid back character who was possibly more “touchy feely”.

“An athlete wins by one tenth of a second and we are trying to take that philosophy into business. The information Bernie supplies helps make us more observant and reactive to our clients needs,” he says.
