New Year Resolutions Should Include Personality Profiling says Brnie De Souza

Popular people profiler Bernie De Souza is using New Year Resolutions to prove to audiences that they have to get their personalities as well as their weight control or smoking habits under control .

Recession hit families who are tightening their belts are being advised to watch out for the personality traits which need curbing.

“They are just as worrying as the fitness regimes we all think about at this time of year,” he says.

Leamington Spa based Bernie De Souza uses a profiling process which identifies people with inbuilt characteristic traits that individuals need to know about so that they can work out ways to handle them.

He is concerned for instance that the dominant “D” type personalities he profileswho are the dominant characters are the worst when it comes to getting their finances in order. This is a worry because this personality type are frequently leaders who run businesses and don;t like to be bogged down by detail.

Bernie shows audiences at events that “D” types are much more likely to take risks because they are motivated by the need to get things moving quickly and the last thing they want is to waste their time with small details.

His colleagues within the Personality Insights network highlight the fact that the "D" types they profile are renowned for regarding a budget as a rough estimate that must yield to goals and plans.

“This is worrying because they are likely to let money issues slide and lose sight of the Big picture. We prove to these types that they have to to watch out for this trait which can be dangerous if it is not kept under control.”

As budgets are of particular concern in recession and at the beginning of the year after the Christmas festivities, Bernie has been approached by families feeling the pinch. He pinpoints the individuals who come to see him and point the way forward for the various types.

Another personality type in is profiling system are the “I” types who are inspirational thinkers who have their heads in the clouds much too often.

“These types tend to find everything too hard to understand and literally bury their heads in the sand. We can feel sorry for them because they are nice people but they need to be shown how to toughen up in times of crisis.”

They need to take note from the “S” type characters in the D.I.S.C. Personality Insights profiling system used by Bernie and his colleagues which show that the third group are supportive caring people who are much more likely to keep their budget under control and err on the side of caution.

“I know which personality type I would like to be with at times like this. We should all get to know these supportive “S” types who weight up people issues against financial constraints when the going is tough.”

Similarly the cautious nature of the analytical “C” types in his profiling list are worth getting to know because they will always stay within budget and spend a great deal of their time weighing up the pros and cons of their investments.

“I find these types will be excited by the small print and are the first ones to turn to in times of trouble. It is good to have a good selection of these personality types within an organisation. I certainly like it when I come across them in the course of my work.”

Bernie has devised a series of presentations and workshops in 2010 to help businesses and individuals analyse their own personalities and others so that they can fight their way out of recession. He is expecting big take up of the specialist motivational and profiling skills which have made him famous as a professional public speaker and motivational people profiler who works with top teams and businesses around the world.
